Chart 1: Wilber Correlations

The book's own master correlation chart, redrawn here as text instead of a scanned page image. It lines up Wilber's basic structures/levels (the "Great Nest" spine used throughout his work) against several parallel readings of the same territory: the self-sense and its defenses at each level, the felt affect and the corresponding scope of moral consideration, the fulcrum/pathology/treatment picture used in his psychotherapy model, and — a genuinely separate developmental line — gender identity and the worldview that goes with it.

Transcribed and cross-checked against the source page images (library/2000-integral-psychology-images/00016.jpg–00019.jpg); not yet independently verified by a second pass — treat cell contents as draft until reviewed. Rendering confirmed working (checked the published page's raw HTML: all rowSpan grouping and cell content intact).

Fulcrums, pathology, treatment, and moral span

A coarser, ten-fulcrum version of the same territory — this is the spine of Wilber's psychotherapy model, roughly aligned with (but not row-for-row identical to) the structures table above. "BPM" (Basic Perinatal Matrices) is Stanislav Grof's term, adopted here for the pre-birth/birth stage below F-1 — see Chart 2 for Grof's own fuller scheme.

Gender identity and worldviews

A distinct developmental line — not a restatement of the basic-structures spine above — correlating gender identity with the worldview typically associated with each stage.

Gender identityWorldview (name)Worldview (general characteristics)
Morphological-genetic givensArchaicUndifferentiated, pleromatic
UndifferentiatedArchaic-magicalHallucinatory wish fulfillment, subject-object fusion ("selfobject")
Differentiated basic-gender identityMagicalEgocentric, word magic, narcissistic; locus of magic power = ego
Gender conventionality (norms)Magic-mythic (literal)Concrete-literal myths; locus of magic power = deified Other — ethnocentric
Gender consistencyMythic-rationalRationalization of mythic structures, demythologizing, formalizing — ethnocentric
—FormalismStatic universal formalism, static systems/contexts — worldcentric
Gender androgyny (trans-differentiated)Pluralistic-relativismPluralistic systems, dynamic-multiple contexts/histories — worldcentric
—Holistic-integralismIntegrates multiple contexts/paradigms, cross-paradigmatic, dialectical developmentalism as World Process — worldcentric
Archetypal gender union (tantra)Psychic (shamanic, yogic)Union with creatrix of gross realm; nature mysticism; gross realm unity — theocentric
